Looking for Driver CPC Courses?

All drivers of lorries over 3.5 tonnes or Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV) with 9 or more seats must complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years. Periodic training is delivered through training courses attended over the five year period covered by the validity of their current CPC. Training courses are usually 7 hours long and courses must be approved by JAPUT and the DVSA.

We are a JAUPT approved centre and offer a full range of CPC courses for drivers of both LGV and PCV vehicles.

What about the recent license changes?

Following the recent changes to driving license legislation, you can now tow a trailer of upto 3500kg. this can be both a daunting and dangerous experience for some people.

Since these changes to licence legislation came into force there has been widespread speculation that Insurers may soon be requiring any drivers wishing to tow to undertake basic competency training in addition to any training required inline with Health and Safety at work training.
